Sadly, but understandably, this event was cancelled by the organizers due to the Covid 19 outbreak and the need for social distancing. I so hope this can be rescheduled for another date!
Situated within the Ring of Fire, lying amongst ten sleeping volcanoes is a cooperative known as Twisted Strait Fibers (TSF). We are a group of fiber farmers and fiber artists spread out among open spaces carved out of the forests by indigenous groups and the early pioneers of the 1800’s who moved west until they were halted by the Pacific Ocean.
We banded together as a cooperative because of our love of natural fibers including wool, cashmere, alpaca, llama, mohair and yak. We know if we share our enthusiasm and knowledge with each other we can grow stronger as a group, rather than remaining distant neighbors.
