Here's your chance to sink your knitting needles into Argyle adventure at Stitches At Home. I'm teaching a live virtual workshop over two weekends, one two-hour session the first Sat will get you started on the technique, and then you'll have a week to be working on the leg of your sock (or legs of both socks!). We're using dk weight yarn, so the sock progression will move along quickly. You'll tune back in the next Sat and Sun for a 2-hour session each day to learn the heel flap and gusset knitted flat, ,a flat seaming technique, and how to calculate Argyle diamonds for different gauges. And I have two slideshows as well, showing all sorts of Argyle variations on garments (you'll be surprised at the variety!) and a slideshow of some retro sock designs that are all knit flat like the Argyle sock construction. What is so great about having this type of workshop is that you have time to knit between sessions and move to the next part of instruction with the project in hand. Sessions are May 15, 5-7:10 CDT, May 22, 5-7:10 CDT, May 23, 2:00-4:10 CDT. Class link here.
